Managing gold
on your Voima Account Depositing gold


On this page, you will find the instructions on how to deposit gold into your Voima Account. The deposit concerns gold material, such as recycled gold items, jewellery or bullion. Please note that Voima does not store these articles as such: the material will be melted and the amount of pure gold will be deposited into your gold account.

In accordance with Voima's pricing, a deposit fee—or in the case of Miners, an analysis fee—is charged for each batch. The deposit must be brought to Voima's Helsinki office.

The steps

  1. Log into your Voima Account and select “Gold account”.
  2. Image: The menu displayed on your Voima Account. The menu has the following options: summary, gold account, currency account and transactions.
  3. Select “Deposit gold”.
  4. Image: The menu that shows you the following options: buy gold, sell gold, deposit gold or withdraw gold.
  5. Declare the gross weight of the batch you wish to bring to Voima's office and select “Next”.
  6. Image: The menu that lets you declare the gross weight of the gold batch. The following text is included: 'When bringing gold to Voima with the intention of selling it to Voima, the purity of the gold will be analysed, and a correspondent amount of 999.9 pure gold will be credited to your gold account. Applicable fees will be charged.'. The 'Next' button is at the bottom.
  7. Book the appointment by choosing the date and time and selecting “Next”.
  8. Image: The window that lets you pick the date and time for your appointment. The date is picked from a calendar window and the time from a dropdown menu. The following text is below the time menu: 'After receiving the batch, Voima will treat the gold according to the Terms of Service'. The 'Next' button is at the bottom.
  9. Verify the transaction by entering your Voima Account password and select “Confirm”.

Done! When you arrive at Voima's office, please remember to bring your ID with you.
