New Board Member

In an extraordinary shareholder's meeting held at the beginning of 2023, Voima's Board of Directors received a new member as Kai Järvikare was succeeded by Norman Day.

Norman is an English qualified lawyer and brings a wide portfolio of international commercial experience to the Board. He has nearly 20 years of corporate legal experience, having advised on many high-value multi-jurisdictional transactions related to banking & finance, general corporate and private clients, as well as solid in-house experience from his time consulting with a successful Finnish technology scaleup.

He has a proven track record in advising Finnish companies on international growth strategies and is passionate about helping business leaders rise to the challenge of their assignment.

He has studied law at the universities of Edinburgh, McGill and Oxford.

Norman comments on the appointment as follows:

I am delighted to add my strength to an innovative company like Voima and honoured to be able to work alongside Saku Pitkänen, Marko Viinikka and Voima's management team. World systems, economies and markets are increasingly unpredictable—people everywhere are considering what their ‘stores of value' are. Voima is looking to capitalise on this trend through gold, the most enduring store of value the world has known. Voima looks to bring financial shelter to people and business and deserves to grow beyond the borders of Finland. I want to be part of this good news story.
