Yes, you can withdraw physical gold from your Voima Account in 100g bars. Shipments are handled by Posti, with a maximum insured value of €15,000 per package. The shipping fee is €50 per package, and delivery is currently available within Finland only.
Please note that when requesting Voima to send your gold bars, they are removed from the Voima ecosystem. For this reason, a withdrawal fee is charged for each bar withdrawn, in accordance with Voima's pricing.
Open on new page -
Why doesn't the price of physical gold directly match the spot price per gram?
With physical gold you always pay slightly more than the market price — this difference is called a premium. It covers the manufacturing, minting, and transport costs of the product. The size of the premium varies by product:
- Standardised bars are easy to resell internationally thanks to their certificates.
- Investment coins are internationally recognised and highly liquid.
Both are VAT-exempt investment products in Finland when they meet the standards defined by the EU. In practice, many customers combine bars and coins according to their own investment plan.
Open on new page -
I am concerned about the price of gold dropping. Should not gold store its value?
Although its price can fluctuate in the short term, gold has been valued throughout millennia, thus outperforming many official currencies.
History has shown that different currencies, like the euro and the dollar, have lost their value against gold in the long run. One of the main reasons for this is that such currencies can be created without limit, while the supply of gold is naturally limited.
Open on new page -
Can I withdraw my gold?
Yes, gold can be withdrawn from Voima Account as 99.99% pure gold in 100g and 1kg bars.
Please contact Customer Support to arrange this.

If logging in through the app isn't working, try logging in through a browser instead. Should that not work either, clearing your browser cache and trying again often does the trick. If you're still having trouble, contact our customer service for further assistance.

Does Voima employ two-factor authentication?
Yes. You need two factors to log into your account: a password and an SMS code. This makes it harder for unauthorised people to access your account and, thereby, two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Voima Account.
Open on new page -
Why do you ask for identity verification on phone calls?
We want to ensure that only you can act on your account. Strong identification protects your assets from unauthorised access and reduces the risk of fraud — it is also a legal requirement under EU and EEA regulation. In practice, it makes every interaction safer for you.
