How to use Voima Account

Introduction

Voima Account consists of a gold account and a euro account. Through the gold account, you can acquire gold and deposit and withdraw physical gold. Through the euro account, you can transfer money between your euro account and your bank account. Through both gold and euro accounts you can also exchange euros for gold and vice versa. Below, you will find instructions on how to manage the assets on your Voima Account.

Using the gold account

With the gold account, you can increase your gold assets as well as exchange, deposit or withdraw your gold. If you exchange gold for euros, the euros will be transferred automatically into your euro account.

The gold-related bank transfers must be made from a bank account that has been opened in your name. If you want to use a shared bank account, please read the instructions for this.

Acquire gold through the gold account

Alternative 1: Finnish online payment

  1. Log into your Voima Account and select "Transfer in" under the gold account. If you are using a mobile device, first select "Details" under the gold account and then select "Transfer in".
  2. Select "Finnish online payment".
  3. Insert the euro amount, select your bank and then select "Next".
  4. Make the payment on your online bank, after which you will return to Voima's application.

Done! The gold will appear on your account shortly.

Alternative 2: Bank transfer details

  1. Log into your Voima Account and select "Transfer in" under the gold account. If you are using a mobile device, first select "Details" under the gold account and then select "Transfer in".
  2. Select "Bank transfer".
  3. Here you will find the necessary bank transfer details. Please note that the reference number should only be used for transfers into your gold account.
  4. Log into your bank account and make a transfer into your Voima Account's gold account.

Done! Once Voima has received the transfer, it will be processed and the funds will be exchanged for gold at the then-prevalent rate.

Exchange gold for euros

  1. Log into your Voima Account and select "Exchange" under the gold account. If you are using a mobile device, first select "Details" under the gold account and then select "Exchange".
  2. Insert the amount of grams into the "Gold" section and select "Confirm".

Done! The euros will appear on your account shortly.

Using the euro account

You can transfer funds into your euro account through a Finnish online payment or bank transfer. You can also transfer the euros on your euro account back into your bank account whenever you want.

The bank transfers into your euro account must be made from a bank account that has been opened in your name. If you want to use a shared bank account, please read the instructions for this.

Exchange euros for gold

  1. Log into your Voima Account and choose "Exchange" under the euro account. If you are using a mobile device, first select "Details" under the euro account and then select "Exchange".
  2. Insert the amount of euros into the "Euro" section and select "Confirm".

Done! The gold will appear on your account shortly.

Transfer euros into your euro account

Alternative 1: Finnish online payment

  1. Log into your Voima Account and select "Transfer in" under the euro account. If you are using a mobile device, first select "Details" under the euro account and then select "Transfer in".
  2. Select "Finnish online payment".
  3. Insert the euro amount, select your bank and then select "Next".
  4. Make the payment on your online bank, after which you will return to Voima's application.

Done! The euros will appear on your account shortly.

Alternative 2: Bank transfer details

  1. Log into your Voima Account and select "Transfer in" under the euro account. If you are using a mobile device, first select "Details" under the euro account and then select "Transfer in".
  2. Select "Bank transfer".
  3. Here you will find the necessary bank transfer details. Please note that the reference number should only be used for transfers into your euro account.
  4. Log into your bank account and make a transfer into your Voima Account's euro account.

Done! Voima will process your order and transfer the funds into your account without delay.

Transfer euros out of your euro account

  1. Log into your Voima Account and select "Transfer out" under the euro account. If you are using a mobile device, first select "Details" under the euro account and then select "Transfer out".
  2. Insert the euro amount and choose your bank account. If you have not previously added a bank account, you can do so by selecting "Add a new bank account". Select "Next".
  3. The transfer request will be sent to Voima. Once the transfer has been confirmed, the funds will appear on your bank account after 1–2 business days.

Deposit gold

You can deposit physical gold into your Voima Account. The deposit pertains to gold material such as recycled gold items, jewellery or bars. Please note that Voima does not store your deposit as such: it will be melted and the amount of pure gold that it contains will be deposited into your gold account.

If you want to deposit physical gold into your Voima Account, please contact Voima's Customer care either by phone +358 (0)9 612 1917 or by email. You can bring a deposit to Voima's Helsinki office at Bulevardi 5 during the opening hours or order a pick-up service for it. The deposit delivery must be arranged at least 24 hours beforehand.

Normal Customers will be charged a deposit fee and Miners will be charged an analysis fee from the deposit, in accordance with Voima's pricing.

Withdraw gold

If you want to withdraw physical gold from your Voima Account, please contact Voima's Customer care either by phone +358 (0)9 612 1917 or by email. You can come to Voima's Helsinki office at Bulevardi 5 during the opening hours to pick up your withdrawal or order a pick-up service for it. If you are coming to pick up the bars yourself, please book an appointment at least 24 hours beforehand.

For each withdrawed bar, Voima charges a withdrawal fee.
